The Adirondacks is a four-season playground for enjoying all types of outdoor activities. You can explore nearby mountains, canoe a quiet pond, play a round of golf, or maybe catch the big one in Paradox Lake!

We would be happy to help you choose activities suited to you and your family.

There are many great destinations and places to visit during your stay at the Lake Paradox Club. The village of Schoon Lake is only minutes away and offers shopping, dining, golf, and lots of local services. There are also fun places to visit like Lake Placid or historic Fort Ticonderoga…Gore and Whiteface for skiing…the High Peaks.…The Wild Center in Tupper Lake or the Adirondack Experience in Blue Mt. Lake. There are seasonal farmers markets, great music at the Seagle Colony, and for beer lovers, the Paradox Brewery is a great spot. One of the first places to receive Forever Wild status in the United States, these mountains have been cherished as an outdoor playground, accessible and open to all since the 1800’s. From the shores of Lake Champlain to the tallest ridge of the Tug Hill Plateau, the Adirondack Mountains offer an astonishing natural paradise filled with the possibility for adventure in every season.

SCHROON LAKE

For over 200 years, Schroon Lake, a quaint rural town home to about 1,880 full time residents and thousands more second homeowners and yearly visitors, has been celebrated for its friendly people, iconic Adirondack scenery, and endless recreational and cultural activities.

Paradox Brewery is a certified Veteran owned, independent craft brewery founded in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains brewing innovative beer of the highest quality.

This 25,000 square feet brewery can produce 50,000 barrels a year. We offer brewery tours every Saturday from 1:00-2:00pm and 2:00-3:00pm.

THE WILD CENTER

Three years running, The Wild Center was named the People’s Choice top attraction in the Adirondacks by the readers of Adirondack Life. The Wild Center has also been named named "#2 science museum in the country" by readers of USA Today. To top it all off, The Wild Center’s Wild Walk, a trail across the treetops, has opened to rave reviews.

It’s all part of an outdoor and indoor experience on 81-acres that’s earned praise from around the world for how it lets visitors of all ages get closer to the natural world.

GORE MOUNTAIN

A premier winter recreation destination with the most skiable terrain in New York State and a towering 2537' vertical drop. Enjoy a welcoming family-oriented atmosphere, an immense variety of terrain, and high-speed lifts including an eight-passenger gondola.

With more than 20 buildings nestled across 120 acres overlooking Blue Mountain Lake, our open-air campus offers everyone something to do.
